Richard Parker is a speaker, trainer, author and consultant to both the
Financial and RV Industries; but at his core, he is an entrepreneur.
During his early years, Richard joined the United States
Jaycees, where he was named the "Outstanding Jaycee in America," and
won the organization's formal speaking competition, 'Speak-Up,' which
opened the doors to the Positive Thinking Rallies, where he shared the
stage with Zig Ziglar, Art Linkletter and Dr. Norman Vincent Peal.
In 1986, Richard joined one of the nation's largest Wall St. firms.
Always one to seek out the next challenge, Richard, a
million-dollar producer, formed his own NASD member broker-dealer in
1994, and quickly grew it to 68 offices and almost 400 financial
advisors. He took the company public in 1998 before selling
the company and retiring from the industry in 2003.
A decade of diverse financial experience has propelled Richard into a
successful career as a top speaker, trainer, author and consultant for
both the Financial and RV Industries. He is currently the
President and CEO of Educational Seminars of America,
a national seminar, training and consulting firm advising RV resort
communities and RV dealerships in the rapidly growing recreational
vehicle (RV) industry and banks, brokerage firms and insurance
companies in the financial arena nationwide.
Richard is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) speaking
regularly all across America and around the world to industry groups,
associations, and corporations. He is always motivational,
always humorous, and always a hit with his audience.
To date, Richard has authored 2 uniquely successful national seminar
systems, and 5 books, including Retire and Stay Retired -
Enjoying the RV Lifestyle, a best seller in
the RV community.
He also authored The Perfect Practice, a
practical guide for financial planners to maximize their planning
practice, The Journey to Wealth,
which he wrote to give everyday investors financial direction, Cuba - The Story of Revival,
written to raise money to build churches across Cuba, and The Tunnel of Time, a
children's book, which he co-authored with his 12-year-old
granddaughter, Brittney Cole.
Because of his and his wife, Joan's passion for the RV lifestyle,
Richard has been teaching educational seminars at national, regional
and local RV rallies, shows, communities and resorts around the country
during the past several years.
A fifth generation Floridian, Richard and wife, Joan have two married
sons, Wayne and his wife , Mellissa, parents of McKenna, and Shane and
his wife, Gale, parents of Brittney and Beau. He resides in
Melbourne Beach, Florida.
